New on Ticmint: Sell More, Charge Fairer, Discount Smarter
Overview
Event organizers don’t just sell tickets. They sell parking, food, merchandise, bundle passes, and group deals, and until now, most of that meant bolting on a separate tool outside the ticketing dashboard. Fee structures were rigid, discounts were manual, and pulling a single attendee’s ticket or invoice meant digging through order exports.
This release closes those gaps. Ticmint’s dashboard now supports a full product marketplace, tax-aware fee calculation, native group discounts, configurable policy pages, and one-click bulk ticket downloads, all inside the same workflow organizers already use to build events.
These updates shipped in direct response to organizer requests, and they’re live now across both Ticmint Enterprise and Ticmint DIY.
Why We Built These Updates
Organizers running multi-day events, sports tournaments, and recurring venues kept hitting the same wall: the ticket itself was never the whole transaction. As a result, teams were exporting spreadsheets to track parking passes, manually calculating tax-inclusive fees, and emailing individual tickets on request. Each workaround added operational drag on the days that mattered most: event day and settlement day.
What's New
Product Module, Sell More Than Tickets
Organizers can now create categories, subcategories, and products directly inside Ticmint: food, parking, merchandise, or any other item an event needs to sell. Products and subcategories can also be attached at the event level, not just the organizer level.
This means a stadium can sell parking passes, a festival can sell merchandise, and a sports tournament can sell concession add-ons, all without a third-party checkout tool. Everything rolls into the same order, add-ons setup, and reporting.
DTCM Recurring Event Enhancements
For organizers running DTCM-regulated recurring events in Dubai, Ticmint now supports Bundle Passes and configurable Discounts. Organizers can package multiple visits into a single pass and apply discount rules without manual reissue for every date.
Configurable Terms & Policy Pages
Terms, Privacy Policy, and other legal pages now open in a full window instead of a popup, a small change that matters for readability and for organizers who need their policy pages to look and feel native to their brand. Behind the scenes, this is now fully configuration-driven. Organizers can choose between default Ticmint pages, an external URL, HTML content, or a CDN-hosted URL. Backend support for HTML content is live now; the dashboard UI to manage it directly is coming in a future release.
Smarter Platform Fee & New Service Fee
Fee calculation just got more accurate. Platform fee is now calculated on Ticket Price + Applicable Taxes, not ticket price alone. Alongside this, Ticmint introduced a new Service Fee feature, also calculated on ticket price plus tax, with support for multiple tax components such as CGST and SGST.
If Service Fee is enabled for an event, the platform fee is absorbed within it, so buyers see one clear fee line, not two. Organizers can configure this at the Global, Organizer, or Event level, and invoices can be configured separately from the fee display itself. In addition, this gives organizers in tax-heavy markets, India in particular, a fee structure that actually matches how they invoice.
Group Discount
Organizers can now set a minimum ticket quantity and a discount percentage, and Ticmint handles the rest. Buyers see dynamic messaging in real time as they approach the discount threshold, which nudges group bookings without any manual coupon code. Group Discount works across Seated, Non-seated, and DTCM events.
Faster Ticket Downloads & Invoices
Order management got three upgrades:
- Individual ticket download directly from Order → View Details, for both Standard and OTC (over-the-counter) orders
- Complete order download as a ZIP file, including QR codes for every ticket in the order
- Invoice download directly from the order details page
Together, these cut down the back-and-forth of manually generating tickets or invoices on request, everything an attendee or organizer needs is one click away from the order history view.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Can I sell food, parking, and merchandise through Ticmint alongside tickets?
Yes. The new Product Module lets organizers create categories, subcategories, and products, including food, parking, and merchandise, and attach them at either the organizer or the individual event level.
2. How does Ticmint calculate Platform Fee and Service Fee?
Both are calculated on Ticket Price plus Applicable Taxes, not ticket price alone. If Service Fee is enabled, it absorbs the Platform Fee, so buyers see a single combined fee line instead of two separate charges.
3. What is Group Discount and how do buyers see it?
Organizers set a minimum ticket quantity and a discount percentage. Buyers see dynamic on-page messaging as they add tickets, showing them how close they are to unlocking the discount, without needing a coupon code.
4. Can I download all tickets for an order at once?
Yes. Organizers and buyers can now download a complete order as a ZIP file that includes QR codes for every ticket, in addition to downloading individual tickets or invoices separately.
5. Are these updates available for DIY organizers or only Enterprise?
All updates in this release, Product Module, fee changes, Group Discount, and ticket downloads, are live across both Ticmint Enterprise and Ticmint DIY. DTCM-specific features apply to organizers running DTCM-regulated recurring events.
6. Can I use my own terms and privacy policy pages instead of Ticmint's default?
Yes. Policy pages are now configuration-driven; organisers can point to Ticmint’s default pages, an external URL, HTML content, or a CDN-hosted URL.
