REFUND GUARANTEE POLICY

Introduction

This Refund Guarantee Policy shall govern any refund application, as per the terms herein, by a ticketholder who has booked a ticket through us or any event managers availing our services (“Ticketholder”), (Hereinafter “Refund Guarantee Facility”). We are providing this Refund Guarantee Facility in order for you to enjoy the best experience in availing our services.   

By availing the Ticmint Refund Guarantee Facility for any booking of events through the use of Ticmint’s platform or through the platform of any event manager/partner availing our services, You hereby agree to comply with all the Terms and Conditions of this Refund Guarantee Policy. 

Refund Guarantee Fee

  • By opting to avail yourself of the Refund Guarantee Facility for Tickets booked under this Platform or event managers availing our services, You hereby agree to pay a nominal fee over and above the Ticket price quoted in the platform (Hereinafter “Refund Guarantee Fee”).  
  • Where the cancellation is availed under this Refund Guarantee Policy, Ticmint shall make the refund of the original Ticket price quoted in the platform. The Refund Guarantee Fee is non-refundable.
  • The Refund amount shall not include the following:
    • The Refund Guarantee Fee;
    • Any convenience fee paid to the payment service provider;
    • Any discount, cashback or any other offers tied to the Ticket availed by You, at the time of booking;
    • Any other ancillary fee paid to you while booking the Ticket. 

Eligible Causes for Availing Refund

The follow are the eligible causes for availing refund of the Tickets:

  • Illness or injury resulting in hospitalisation, accident, or death – including that of immediate family members. Family member refers to spouse, children, parents and brothers/sisters.
  • Pregnancy related conditions 
  • Scheduled airline failure 
  • Government travel bans
  • Adverse weather conditions resulting in cancellation of Event
  • Armed forces & emergency services recall 
  • Relocation by your employer
  • Changes to exam dates of children
  • Jury Service, Court Summons 
  • House Fire or any other similar home emergencies
  • Any other reason approved by Ticmint.

Manner of Availing the Refund

If You wish to avail Refund for any Ticket through the services offered by Ticmint Platform under this Policy, You must make an application for the refund either through the designated portal on the Ticmint Platform or by writing to us at support@ticmint.com and by providing the information of the Ticket and the reason for availing the same. You may also be required to provided supporting documents regarding your cause of cancellation as required.   

The application of refund shall be only made if You had directly purchased the ticket from the Ticmint Platform or from an event manager who is availing our services. You cannot make any application for refund for any other person who had purchased the Ticket for an event whether through this Platform or otherwise. 

All the refunds under this Policy will be made through the same mode and into such account or source through which the payments were originally made. 

All refunds under this Policy will typically be made within 72 hours of approval of valid submission of the refund application. The timeframe of Your refund may exceed beyond 72 hours based on the cause cited while availing refund or any other factor. Your refund may be refused or withheld in case of any incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate information made in the refund application. 

Other terms

  • Any reason for refund must not be foreseeable at the time You made the booking.
  • We do not refund if You made Your booking by mistake, or it is no longer wanted or needed.
  • Ticmint reserves the right to seek for additional documentation.
  • Timelines provided for refund are indicative in nature.
  • While submitting the documents, you are supposed to provide: (a) the supporting document must be of recent date (i.e., not before 7 days from date of application); (b) in case of medical reasons, health-related or death etc. the supporting documents must be provided by a qualified medical practitioner, and it must provide specifically that the ticketholder has an inability to travel.
  • The occurrence of the events mentioned above is a mere eligibility for availing refund and does not entitle the Ticketholder to any refund. The entitlement of the refund will be conclusively determined at the sole discretion of Ticmint after assessing the supporting documents.  
  • Pre-existing medical conditions are not covered (i.e. any condition existing from 2 weeks prior to event date). Supporting document must specify the same.
  • Examples of supporting documents: 
  • For death – death certificate with proof of relationship; 
  • For illness, pregnancy and health related – certificate from a qualified medical practitioner in accordance herewith.
  • For Government bans, adverse weather conditions cancelling event – Government order copy.
  • For travel – airline ticket and cancellation confirmation from airline.
  • For fire – police report or fire service report.
  • For relocation – letter from employer.
  • For jury / summons – copy of the letter for jury service or summons copy 
  • We do not provide refund in case of: 
  • Where the event or circumstance was foreseeable.
  • Incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information is provided.
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or sanctions placed on you resulting in your inability to attend.
  • The circumstance pertains to a period prior to 2 months from the date of event. 
  • Cancellation by the event manager or partner for any reason whatsoever.
  • These reasons for refund are considered on an entirely discretionary basis. This is not an insurance policy. 
  • A refundable booking is an optional extension to our standard Terms & Conditions, and it provides a refund for certain defined circumstances outlined in this Policy.

Modification of Refund Policy

Ticmint reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Platform. Continued use of Ticmint’s services after the policy updates will constitute your acceptance of the revised Refund Guarantee Policy.
